夢境如幻

                        我有一位信眾她是專門幫銀行做室內設計的一間公司，現在是我們山上開山聖殿的室內設計師，在這中間讓她跨行做寺院的室內設計，都是有一些特殊因緣的。

有次有位法師請她幫忙整修寺廟的納骨塔，剛開始因完全沒接觸過這類的案子，又加上是納骨塔的關係讓她不是很想接，後來她親自到納骨塔現場，聞到一股屍臭味產生厭惡感，但她心中突然有個念頭，若是我往生以後，我的小孩聞到這個味道，是否也會和我一樣感到厭惡，因此當下她就轉念要幫這個納骨塔整修成為很典雅、很清淨的地方、讓人看了會產生歡喜心，並發心不收費來幫忙整修。

今天她帶了家人及幾位朋友來請教我問題並作皈依，其中有個朋友，她的先生因為照胃鏡不小心被胃鏡戳了一個洞，而使得胃受感染而更加嚴重，我跟她說可以做焰口消災，焰口主要是藉由諸佛菩薩的威德力，讓食物轉化成種種妙欲的甘露飲食，充塞法界，使餓鬼眾生的咽喉能夠開啟，得到飲食飽滿進而解脫苦趣，超升到三善道，不僅如此生者為餓鬼道所做的施食，可以延年益壽，並且受到諸鬼神的擁護。

另外，那設計師的先生前兩天做了一個令他很恐懼的夢，是與她小孩有關，在夢境中，他熟悉的環境裡，出現了太平間，感覺好像鬧鬼，後來看到他的小孩在一個陰暗的房間裡吃著桌上的麻將，看起來很像吃著屍體，在房間陰暗的角落裡也看了幾個鬼怪的小孩，於是他把小孩拉離開那房間後，小孩走向另一個房間，他跟著過去，他看見房間裡出現一到很亮很強的光，後來就被嚇醒了，醒來後嚇得頭皮發麻、全身起雞皮疙瘩，心中一直很罣礙，很擔心他的小孩，後來我跟他說：「出現那一道光很重要，這是危機變轉機的現象，別太擔心。」

那設計師再問我最近她有個案子，是幫忙修建大陸華嚴寺問我好不好，我告訴她：「只要是做佛法的事業能夠利益眾生，都是很好、很有福報的，非常贊成她去做。」這也讓我想到在她先生夢中，所看到的那道強光，可能是她去幫忙修建這華嚴寺的緣起，而修寺的功德力將庇蔭她小孩，恰好我也很想在那裡建個小道場，說不定此次他修建寺廟是最好的牽線。

I was having my daily ritual when my guest arrived; she came with her husband and son, friend and subordinate. She showed me 3 miniature moulds for the glazed Buddha statue to let me decide which material I want to use for the Buddha statue. After we have decided on the material, she introduced her friend; I am surprise that she is the Chairman for a paper manufacturing company as she looks rather young. She told me that her husband went for gastroscope 3 days ago for checkup, during the checkup, the doctor accidentally caused a hole, however, the doctor did not take any necessary action and his condition got worsen and became peritonitis and needs to go for operation at the end of the month, she is very worried. After listening to her, I told her the incident was caused by some evil spirits, to solve it, she will need to devote merits to the salvation of these spirits. At the end of the meeting, I held a small ceremony of proclaiming themselves as a Buddhist.

After the meeting, I quickly change into my kasaya and went for the opening of the Bodhisattva rule and 5 primary commands workshop and told the participants: coming for this workshop is to plant a seed in each of you so that one day you will become a Buddha, it takes a lot of courage as what they will learn to live altruistically, to cultivate a Buddha heart, to be compassionate to all beings. By living with the commands, such as being a vegetarian will bring out the compassion in you as you will no longer be killing animals because you want to eat meat and before eliminate from forming bad relationships. Being a Buddhist, one should frequently attend 5 primary commands workshop to live by these commands and to save these in our subconscious, in our memory.

On the way back to my room, I saw one of my disciples. When he saw me, he kneeled down and in a shaky voice told me his mother was admitted into hospital a few days ago due to Diabetes. He hurried took out his handphone and showed me photo of his mother’s feet which part of her foot was amputated as she did not inform her children about her condition and only purchase OTC (over the counter) drugs from the pharmacies to apply on her wound. Her condition is getting from bad to worst and the doctor mentioned they will need to amputate the lower half of her leg if her condition worsens. She was very upset and told her children she will rather die than to have her leg amputated. He asked me what should he do? I told him: persuade your mother to go for the operation so that she can live on, this body of ours is fake, why are we persisting on something fake? After hearing what I said,  he thanked me and left, with a faint smile of relieve on his face.
